Brian and I have finished watching season 4 of 24.  We started last week and watched the last disc ( 4 episodes) last night.  We have been totally addicted to it every evening.  We used the DVR to record the 5th season earlier this year, so we’ll be starting that soon.

I was feeling down earlier this week and had an encouraging time last night and today.  We have started helping out as youth leaders for the high school youth group on Wed.  It was good to go last night and get to know some more of the teens—-I’ve really missed this kind of ministry.  Today I got together with a friend and had some good, honest talking and our kids played well together.  I had my ladies bible study tonight and it was very encouraging and so good to be around other woman—I needed that relational and emotional connection.

Malachi has been very interested in David and Goliath, he wants to hear the story all the time.  We watched Dave and the Giant Pickle (Veggie tales) today and at dinner he was talking and talking about the story.  He then said, “Malachi trust God,  Goliath no trust God and fall down.”  He’s so precious!

I’m 18 weeks and starting to show.  I’ve had to switch out of my medium sized underwear and into my larges.  I’m getting into the I just look fatter stage of pregnancy.  I sure hope I pop soon.  Last night I felt the baby squish to one side and could feel the back—it was really awesome–mainly because I wasn’t expecting to feel anything like that so soon.  My ultrasound is next Tuesday—we are hoping to find out the sex!!!

  1. 24 is so much better watched on dvd like that.  We watched the first couple of seasons that way.  It can be so addicting.  Hope you can find out the sex of the baby!  We’re excited to know.
