A Muddy Trip to 100 Acres

Our break is over, school starts back up tomorrow.  During the break, I was determined to get to the  100 Acres park that is connected to the the Indianapolis Musem of Art.  It got a little warmer, so the boys, Laney, and I spent a few hours outside in the sun, soaking up some Vitamin D.  We can’t wait to go back, we have more sculptures to discover and climb on.  It makes my heart happy that these boys love being outside in nature.

Races from the toes to the head and back again….on funky bones.

We really thought there would be a huge maze when we got to the top of the stairs on the other side of that tunnel…..we were all disappointed.

We found this and the boys searched around for a beaver…..and soon found a beaver dam.   They hope to meet a beaver the next time we visit.

I can’t stop thinking of the hymn,  For the Beauty of the earth……

I think we’ll be able to make it through an Indiana winter if we have some more warmer days like this so we can get outside and discover.
